PlaNet Finance

PlaNet Finance is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) that aims to alleviate poverty worldwide through the development of microfinance

By providing financial access to the poorest populations, financial intermediaries, among which banks, cooperatives, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) have been proving for thirty years that they constitute one of the most effective tools to fight poverty.
PlaNet Finance supports these financial intermediaries and increases their growth by federating them and providing operational services which enable them to strengthen their technical capacities and financial resources. PlaNet Finance also works with the private sector (banks and financial institutions), governments and international organizations in order to increase microfinance sustainability.
PlaNet Finance, based in Paris (France), has developed operations in more than 60 countries and has established an international network of affiliated offices in Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Arab World. PlaNet Finance supports the development of microfinance through a number of activities to strengthen the whole sector, governments and policy makers, or directly MFIs.

IT Power

IT Power's head office is located in Basingstoke, Hampshire, with a second UK office in Bristol. A further 40 staff are based at overseas offices in Australia, China, India, Kenya, Mongolia and South Africa.
In the UK, IT Power has undertaken projects for a large number of housing associations, local authorities and developers, as well as for the British Council, the Department for International Development (DfID), the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI), Environment Agency and the Carbon Trust. These projects, range across delivering training, providing expert advice, conducting high-quality research and successfully managing renewable energy and sustainable development projects. The company also has significant experience of working with local authorities, regional government, housing associations and developers.
IT Power has worked on projects for the World Bank and various Agencies of the United Nations (UNDP, UNIDO, UNEP), plus most bilateral organisations. GVEP

The Global Village Energy Partnership International (GVEP) aims :
